Konami, Kojima continue to bicker

Metal Gear Survive MGS5

Konami have confirmed at E3 that Metal Gear Survive will not make its 2017 release window and has now been pushed back until early 2018. Kojima has been asked before if he had anything to do with Metal Gear Survive, but he responded that he did not, saying that including zombies into the mode wasn't really something that fit within his vision for the series. However, speaking to Polygon, Konami has now confirmed that the survival action game is no longer slated to arrive this year and instead will launch in early 2018. METAL GEAR SURVIVE continues the pedigree of METAL GEAR SOLID V's highly praised gameplay design, with a unique blend of stealth and co-op play mechanics. The Metal Gear games are about political fiction and espionage.

That said, Metal Gear Survive has hardly had the best of receptions since it was originally announced. It is the first game in the series that Kojima had absolutely no part in making, thus a little controversy has surrounded it.
