Sony fires at Xbox with arsenal of big PS4 games

15 June 2017, 02:20 | Brandon Parsons

PS4 and Xbox One are both performing better in the market that their respective predecessors, and Nintendo "is back in a big way" with Switch, according to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella.

Sony introduced the PlayStation 4 in November 2013 as its iteration for the next generation console but past year it introduced two new versions of the console, namely the PS4 Slim which is a refreshed version and the PS4 Pro which is significantly more powerful.

The confusion also comes because earlier this week, The Wall Street Journal had reported that Xbox Marketing Chief Mike Nichols told them Xbox One X would not be able to work with VR headsets.

Nintendo's recently launched Twitch has been a victor, with fans snapping up the Switch console and a Legend of Zelda game that has become a must-play title for fans. "Having more power gives us more freedom to be more creative". What fascinated everybody was the cascade of details that accompanied the event, from the release dates to prices, new titles and other information about backward compatibility.

Trump decries shooting of top Congressman, calls for unity
I ask that each of you join me in praying for my good friend, Steve Scalise , and the staff and Capitol police who were injured. Bailey worked as a Capitol police officer for nine years, according to his LinkedIn page, and previously worked for the U.S.

Bungie has also claimed that Destiny 2 will run in 4K/30fps on consoles, however the team did not clarify whether this would be native 4K or checkerboarding 4K.

The Xbox One X is definitely a game system that puts out great visuals, there's no question; provided you have that additional hardware described above. The Xbox 360 did have some limited backward compatability for the original Xbox but rarely added any titles to it after the console launched. For now, though? If you want the most bleeding edge Xbox One experience possible, there's a console for you - it's just gonna cost ya.

The unexpected reveal of Shadow of the Colossus during PlayStation's E3 2017 Media Showcase was a rare moment of true surprise and delight.

Mike Ybarra, corporate vice president of Xbox and Windows at Microsoft, spoke to our Rich to chat about the Xbox One X and what it means for PC games going forward.
