Cosby Imitates'Fat Albert as He Leaves Court
Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam has refused to turn her back on Bill Cosby, the man who made her a household name and is, incidentally, now awaiting the verdict of his near career-damaging rape trial.
Jurors went straight to the deliberation room Wednesday and remained there, with wraps and hoagies arriving for lunch.
The 79-year-old Cosby is facing three felony indecent assault charges that could put him in prison for the rest of his life. But the jury pulled from Allegheny County only heard a portion of Constand's eight hours of testimony and returned to their deliberations about 3:20 p.m.
A Pennsylvania jury was deliberating a third day Wednesday whether to convict disgraced comedy legend Bill Cosby of sexual assault in one of America's biggest celebrity trials in years.
Constand alleges Cosby gave her three sedatives he claimed were an herbal remedy and then groped her breast and genitals while she was paralyzed and unable to fight him off. Cosby said he was in a romantic relationship with the young staffer on the women's basketball team at his alma mater, Temple University, and that the encounter was consensual. One other accuser, Kelly Johnson, testified that she was drugged and assaulted in 1996 as prosecutors sought to establish that Cosby had a pattern of assault.
During a lunch break Tuesday, Wyatt appeared on the courthouse steps to tell a crowd of reporters and cameras about what a defense witness would have said in court - damaging to the credibility of Constand - had O'Neill not barred her testimony as hearsay. He has pleaded not guilty in the Constand case and has repeatedly denied allegations of wrongdoing and of coercing any of his accusers.
Gomez says, "The longer a jury takes to reach a decision, the more there is the possibility that they will be a hung jury, or that they will compromise to come to their verdict".
Though dozens of women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, only Constand's accusations led to criminal charges.

Vogel noted that even small amounts of exposure can add up and that scientists believe there's "no safe levels of lead in blood". Anyway, changed must be applied immediately, since any exposure to lead is unsafe for children.
The prosecution rested its case on Friday, four days after the trial began.
Asked whether a lengthy deliberation process favors one side, Bressler said, "I don't believe so".
"She said she hadn't".
Constand's is the only criminal case against him as under U.S. law, most of the alleged abuse happened too long ago to prosecute.
"I was really nervous and wasn't able to recall every particular moment that I had seen Mr. Cosby in order of dates", she explained.
Cosby is being sued in Los Angeles by Judy Huth, who accuses the comedian of forcing her to perform a sex act on him in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974, when she was 15.
She said Cosby gave her three pills and wine before touching her breasts, putting his fingers in her vagina and putting her hand on his erect penis after she sought his advice about moving to Canada and switching careers.
Cosby's lawyers have argued that Ms Constand was Cosby's willing lover before she fabricated her account of the assault as a way of getting to his money.
