Man Utd target Morata gets married in Venice

19 June 2017, 12:48 | Cesar Cruz

Daily Mirror are claiming that Chelsea are planning another hijack of one of their rival club's targets.

The Red Devils' pursuit of Alvaro Morata, for instance, seems to be edging towards completion with the Real Madrid striker reportedly set to arrive in England to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed £65m switch to the Premier League.

Real Madrid were rocked by widespread claims in the media on Friday that Ronaldo wants to leave the Spanish capital in the summer.

Conte was the man to bring Morata to Juventus before he left for the Italy job in 2014.

How did Morata compare to Costa this season?

United had been favourites to sign the Spain worldwide, with a £65m deal appearing close to completion last week.

Sava said he told Scalise's family that "I am not declaring victory until he's playing ball in his back yard with his family". The congressman underwent another surgery Saturday, and the hospital says he is more responsive and speaking with family.

There have been rumours of Morata being on the brink of moving to Manchester United in the recent days. But the Blues have made a late move for the player.

Chelsea are expecting to lose Diego Costa after boss Antonio Conte texted the striker to tell him he is no longer in his plans.

According to reports in Spain, Jose Mourinho had been phoning the 24-year-old striker on a near daily basis to convince him that he will be the main man at United. However, in case both the clubs agree a fee with Real Madrid, it will come down to player's preference.

Where could Alvaro Morata go next?

Morata has global teammates at both the clubs and he will have a tough job in choosing a team between the two.

Mourinho's club have identified Alexandre Lacazette as an ideal alternative to Morata if a deal is to fail for the Spanish worldwide.
