Despite strong interest from China and Paris Saint-Germain, reports claim that Ronaldo wants to re-join United if a deal can be hammered out between the two clubs.

Bayern Munich have emphatically denied they will attempt to sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, describing reports that they are in talks with Real Madrid as "a dead duck".

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid from Manchester United ahead of the 2009-10 season on what was at the time a world record transfer fee of £80 million.

At the moment, United are wary of being drawn into a transfer saga surrounding Ronaldo's future and the general feeling at Old Trafford is that he will stay in Madrid.

Outraged at being unfairly treated by Spanish tax authorities, Ronaldo had earlier expressed his intentions to leave Real Madrid and Spain.

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the La Liga as well as defending the Champions League 2017 title with Real Madrid this season, has told his agent Jorge Mendes that he wants to return to his former club Manchester United.

Beyoncé and Jay Z welcome twins
Beyoncé has not posted on social media in about two weeks, fueling recent speculation that the birth of her twins was imminent. Last February , Beyonce announced that she and husband Jay Z were expecting not one , but two additions to their family.

The four-time Ballon d'Or victor, who left Old Trafford for the Spanish capital in 2009, supposedly wants to move on this summer after accusations of tax evasion in the country.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas is adamant Cristiano Ronaldo will be proven innocent of tax evasion and is anxious about the potential impact of the Real Madrid star leaving Spain's top flight.

The United goalkeeper has always been linked with a return to his homeland, and the Sun says Old Trafford chiefs are ready to make that happen provided they receive Ronaldo and striker Morato in return.

That makes it a direct contribution to a goal every 64 minutes, which makes it unsurprising that Ronaldo has also managed to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or four times.

Spanish newspaper Marca said that Ronaldo believes he is being made an example of because of his status as a star and that "he is judged without people really knowing him".
