British sides set to learn European opponents

The north-east Albania club with not much history in Albanian football were unlucky to make it to the UEFA Europa league in the 2013-14 season after beating the first three qualifying campaign opponents before being eliminated by Turkey's Trabzonspor in the play-off round.

Rangers have been drawn against Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg in the Europa League first qualifying round, while St Johnstone will face FK Trakai of Lithuania.

If Rangers are able to navigate their way through the Europa League qualifiers to the group stage of the competition, it would hand the club a big financial boost as they seek to close the gap to Celtic.

Dundalk have suffered most with transfers and injuries; at times this season they have been forced to play without the midfield and central defence that attracted so many new supporters 12 months ago.
