A jury on Friday found Yanez not guilty of manslaughter for shooting Castile during a traffic stop.

That in itself isn't too inflammatory, but the accompanying image of a police badge pictured alongside a "runaway slave patrol" badge riled many people. In court, Yanez testified that Philando was pulling the firearm out of his pocket, despite being told not to. The officer shot Castile to death as he allegedly was reaching for his wallet, which was near the gun he carried.

"A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without outcome, doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled", Kaepernick wrote.

HUD Secretary Ben Carson: Give Robert Mueller a chance on Russian Federation
Attorney Jamie Gorelick , Kushner's lawyer, asserted that they would cooperate with the Mueller probe. A spokesman for Marc Kasowitz, Trump's outside attorney, called the Post article irresponsible.

Castile's case was particularly controversial because his girlfriend was streaming to Facebook live after St. Anthony police office Jeronimo Yanez pulled his service pistol and fatally shot Castile seven times as her young daughter sat in the backseat of the auto.

Kaepernick had earlier tweeted: 'My heart aches for Philando's family'. The march came just a day after protesters shutdown Interstate 94 in response to the verdict. "My son loved this city, and this city killed my son", said Valerie.

"You call yourself a good cop, but you see one of your colleagues beating somebody", she said. They murdered my mother f***ing son with his seat belt on.
