Heavy rain and storms will continue to push east across the state this morning. Storms should diminish overnight. The heavier and more extensive rain areas will move east tomorrow night with some rain lingering overnight.
We start off with mostly cloudy skies across the Mid-South, with temps warming up to 84°; heat index: 87°. By mid-week a ridge of high pressure looks to strengthen in Deep South which may bring rain chances down and allow temperatures will climb back into the low to mid 90s. Drying out by Friday into next weekend. Wind: SE 5-10. High: 85.
Monday: Morning clouds, then partly cloudy, warm and humid.
