The characters of "Game of Thrones" have changed so much from the sweet summer children of Season 1.

Believe it or not, Season 7's seven episodes are nearly over already, and then we'll only see these characters again for the six episodes of Season 8. But flame-broiling a significant chunk of the Lannister army is not without consequences, as these photos released by HBO from the upcoming "Eastwatch" episode attest.

Since Daenerys has little trust in Tyrion and Varys, especially after their clever plans led to one failure after another, it will be up to Jon Snow to stand up to her for the sake of the people. Will he bend the knee to the queen of dragons? Daenerys would be expecting Jon to be scared but he won't be.

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, hinted at their relationship, as well. He is a true Targaryen and also a Starke. This episode goes further still, purposefully focusing that long, unbroken shot on someone who isn't a Thrones leading man (Jerome Flynn's Bronn), rather someone just struggling to stay alive.

Well, it seems that some fans have actually metaphorically killed him off in the latest episode.

Well, it looks like it's finally going to happen! We haven't seen Gendry (Joe Dempsie) since Game of thrones season 2 since sir Davos (Liam Cunningham) set him free from the prison.

The jaw-dropping, pulse-quickening sequence that closes out the episode is understandably the source of the major talking points, but there's a heck of a lot going on here besides the Field of Fire. IT is possible that he was castle black as the night watcher. But one good thing is that most of the gold from the war has been shipped to King's Landing and can be returned to the Iron Bank. We also haven't seen Hound from the very first episode and he too will be seen in episode 5.

But the trailer teases one important moment in the show, one that could bring over a few revelations for the characters.

So let's be like Jaime and do a deep dive to see if we can find something useful, and try to learn from all the things they didn't show us.
