Donald Trump warns North Korea of 'overwhelming' options

North Korea options no better in 5 weeks since Trump threatened 'fire and fury'

Donald Trump warns North Korea of 'overwhelming' options

North Korea will be high on the agenda during the U.N. General Assembly session in NY this coming week.

Pyongyang says it needs nuclear weapons to protect itself from "hostile" United States forces and is determined to build a weapons system capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to hit the U.S. mainland.

The Blue House said Moon and Trump had strongly condemned the latest missile launch by North Korea, and agreed that the two nations would work with the global community to implement the latest UN Security Council's resolution 2375, Park said. That launch came less than two weeks after Pyongyang staged its most powerful nuclear test yet.

And there's little sign that talks involving the U.S., North Korea and other interested countries can be arranged amid the nearly weekly barrage of weapons tests and threats, let alone stop the North's determined nuclear march.

Following Friday's missile launch, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in a statement, "These continued provocations only deepen North Korea's diplomatic and economic isolation ..."

Bradford expected to play Sunday for Vikings despite knee injury
Cleveland offers a very talented running back, in Isaiah Crowell, and he managed to just gain 33 yards on 17 carries in Week 1. He'll play a lot of two-deep safety and try to get to Roethlisberger with four pass rushers. "We've seen it during OTAs".

Experts have long questioned if the USA could indeed attack North Korea, given its ability to cause massive casualties south of the border.

Also on the agenda: the Iran nuclear deal, Mideast peace, and United Nations reform efforts.

Those arguments were buttressed from within Trump's administration last month when Steven Bannon concurred that America was essentially bluffing about military options, shortly before he was pushed out as the president's strategic adviser.

The government said the photos, released to North Korea's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), depict an intermediate range Hwasong-12 missile, the same model launched over Japan on Friday and on August 29. They plan to meet this week at the U.N. General Assembly. North Korea also has the world's largest standing army. We need a different approach: North Korea should be presented with opportunities for cooperation; the country should be drawn into various organizations to become bound by a mesh of worldwide obligations. And right now, I don't have any more forensics on it. "Hopefully there will be coordination with allies on their policy lines before he adds anything to the speech about North Korea".
