The 21-year-old was arrested in the suburb of Hounslow in London's west just before midnight (local time), the Metropolitan Police force said in a statement.
The Independent reported that the man was arrested in the departure area of the port of Dover under the Terrorism Act on Saturday morning by Kent Police.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
