Bourbon County woman seriously injured during shooting in South Carolina

Benny Snell rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns as Kentucky opened SEC play by extending its winning streak over SC to four games with a 23-13 victory in Columbia, S.C., on Saturday.

SC receiver Deebo Samuel is out for the year. "I was pretty amazed the first time I ever played down there".

The start of the game did not go well for the Cats, as electric play-maker Deebo Samuel took his first catch 68 yards to the end zone on the first play of the game.

The Cats' next two offensive drives were ended by turnovers, an interception from Stephen Johnson and a fumble recovered by SC. He was taken into the medical tent and returned to the field shortly after.

After Edwards' interception, the offense woke up, scoring two touchdowns on their next four drives to take a 14-6 lead.

Samuel had five catches for 122 yards and his sixth touchdown of the season. He has scored six touchdown in his last 12 games.

Eight dead at Florida nursing home, governor pledges full investigation
How hot did it get inside the nursing home? More than 21,000 people remain in shelters across the state. The home said in a statement that the hurricane had knocked out a transformer that powered the AC.

The dagger? A 54-yard run by Wildcat quarterback Stephen Johnson on a third-and-eight from the Kentucky 36-yard-line - a critical conversion that came just five plays after the Gamecocks had pulled within seven points late in the fourth quarter.

At the time, everyone seemed to agree that was the case, as both Muschamp and quarterback Jake Bentley addressed the need for other players to step up, and how it was a huge loss.

Samuel went down with the injury in the third quarter.

"I don't have all the information, but I know he's going to be out for the year", Muschamp said right after the game.

When South Carolina got the ball back, Baity intercepted one of Bentley's passes and the offense kneeled out the clock. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
