Car plows into crowd at Boise Spectrum, at least 11 injured

Charles LeBar said the eleven were seriously, but not critically, injured.

It happened in the blink of an eye before 11 a.m. Saturday amid two occasions at the unpredictable, Cars and Coffee and Rock'N Brews and BBQ. In a release, police said the investigation is ongoing and that it will be forward to the prosecutor for possible charges once completed.

The Porche driver, who was unhurt, is cooperating with investigators.

According to Boise Police, preliminary information shows the driver of the Porsche was accelerating rapidly as he left the vehicle show, turning onto Overland Road.

According to its Facebook profile, Cars and Coffee "is about getting automotive enthusiasts to gather on a frequent basis to share their passions".

"The information I have is that the driver was showing off for the crowd", said LeBar.
