Hours after the pop star Selena Gomez revealed that she underwent a kidney transplant earlier this summer due to complications from the autoimmune disease lupus, she was spotted back at work on the New York City set of her upcoming Woody Allen movie, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Gomez is now in NY to film the new untitled Woody Allen movie.

In the meantime, Selena has been back at work in New York City filming a new Woody Allen movie, while Demi is preparing to drop her new album in just a few more weeks on September 29.

This past Thursday, Gomez revealed on her respective social media that the reason she hid away from the public spotlight for awhile was that she was recovering from a kidney transplant.

Nick wished her well during a radio interview on SiriusXM's Hits 1 in Hollywood the same day, saying: 'I didn't [know she had gotten the surgery].
