Google can bring new features to Android Wear through the Play Store

Mobile apps are seen on a phone's screen
Hoi Lam's post on Google+ reads, "With Android Wear 2.0, new features can be delivered through the Play Store, when the Android Wear app on your watch is updated". The new update here is that you can find the latest Android wear updates from the Google Play store itself and you don't have to wait for an Android Wear 2.0 update OTA to roll-out and wait for your region to get included. The Android Wear now supports third-party chat apps in Contacts, and the company says it also also improved Play Store discoverability for new users. So for Android Wear 2.0 users, a recent update just like this was rolled out just last week that added a number of changes to the platform.
The company has been known to take their time with new Android Wear updates so it may take a while before the new update reaches all supported devices.
Google Home Mini caught spying on user 24/7
The software fix prevents the activation of the speaker with a touch, which was a feature meant to offer options for activation. Two days later on October 6th, he noticed that the Mini was activating repeatedly while he was trying to watch TV.
The post adds, "the aim is to publish more timely improvements between OTAs". The update also reduces accidental entry into the watch face picker. Watches were conspicuously absent from Google's big hardware event last week, and the Google Store site refresh has removed all non-Google products, including LG's recently released Android Wear watches.
Google said that more such updates would be coming in the next few months giving some much-needed relief to fans of the platform, reiterating Google's interest in the platform.
