Report: Minnesota Timberwolves Sign Andrew Wiggins to Contract Extension

Andrew Wiggins Signs Extension With Wolves

Now with Wiggins on a long-term deal, with Butler under contract for at least two years and with Towns eligible for a five-year extension this time next year, the Timberwolves are poised to be one of the up-and-coming teams in the hyper-talented Western Conference.

Andrew Wiggins finally signed his multi-year deal to remain with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team announced.

The Vertical's Shams Charania originally reported that Wiggins and the Timberwolves were "progressing" towards an agreement in late September, but it took until now to make the contract official.

Still just 22 years old, the superstar swingman is still improving.

Pressure mounts on Karnataka to reduce Value-Added Tax on petrol, diesel
Meanwhile, Ministry of Finance came up with recommendations pertaining to GST rate structure for petroleum and oil sector. From the midnight of Tuesday, petrol price in Maharashtra will be Rs 60.55 per litre and diesel near Rs 59 per litre.

In the same statement, Wiggins called himself "very excited" to continue his career with the Wolves. I want to thank Glen Taylor, Tom Thibodeau, the entire coaching staff and my teammates for believing in me.

He is durable, having missed only one game in his first three seasons, including a rookie of the year campaign in 2014-15, and he fit seamlessly with Towns last season, giving rise to optimism around a Minnesota team that hasn't been in the National Basketball Association playoffs since 2004.

Wiggins averaged career highs of 23.6 points and 2.3 assists per game last season.

Wiggins will make more almost double that of Tristan Thompson, whose $16.4 million contract ranks second among Canadian NBA players.

Here's how a ideal storm of calamity would have to unfold for Embiid to earn any less than the full $146.5 million: Across each of the final four seasons of the extension, ending with the 2022-23 season, the 76ers could waive Embiid for a financial benefit if he's lost because of a contractually agreed-upon injury that causes him to miss 25 or more regular-season games and if he plays less than 1,650 minutes, league sources said.
