Tennessee makes quarterback change

Quinten Dormady has been benched in favor of Jarrett Guarantano and Dormady is now considering transferring. At the time, ESPN Tom Luginbill deemed him an "athletic signal-caller who can really throw it" and noted that Guarantano's "arm talent and velocity are exceptional". Guarantano hasn't exactly lit it up in his limited opportunities though, as the former top recruit has throw for just 54 yards on 12-of-24 passing, averaging just 4.5 yards a completion.

Tennessee, earlier this week, suspended starting defensive end Darrell Taylor indefinitely, the latest adversity for a team that has dropped its first two Southeastern Conference games and is coming off its most lopsided home loss since 1905. During the national telecast of Tennessee's season-opening 42-41 double-overtime victory over Georgia Tech, cameras showed Guarantano sitting on the sidelines without interacting much with teammates.

"We're not going to hide from that", Scott said. It was all over national TV. In fact, Scott said, the ordeal afforded Guarantano a learning experience.

Guarantano was the top-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 2016 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

Coach Inc (COH) Changes Name to … Tapestry?
Former Nordstrom and Hudson's Bay executive Andrea Wasserman, for example, tweeted , "This is freakish & a strategy departure". Coach , however, lost some shine in recent years in part due to the financial recession and increased online shopping.

Tennessee's quarterback derby is expected to take another turn this week.

Tennessee has scored a total of three points over its last six quarters. Jones said it was one of Dormady's better practices of the season.

"Quinten is a competitor and obviously he was very, very disappointed but that's what you would expect from a competitor". You're always one snap away.

"You have to grow and go in a different direction".
