Chicago to host 2020 NBA All Star weekend reports say

ESPNChicago is reporting that the Chicago Bulls and National Basketball Association are expected to announce that the city will host the 2020 All Star Game, according to a league source.

The Bulls announced Friday that a "major announcement" was coming Saturday (AEDT). They did not release any details about the content of that announcement.

That is expected to happen Friday when Commissioner Adam Silver, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and team officials hold a news conference on the United Center court. The city last hosted the festivities back in 1988 at Chicago Stadium. Bulls star Michael Jordan not only dominated in a memorable Slam Dunk Contest, but he also won MVP honors as the Eastern Conference won 138-133 over the West.
