O.J. Simpson has been banned for life from the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a luxury resort casino and hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, after an alcohol-induced bout early Thursday morning, according to Us Weekly. TMZ reported Thursday that the former National Football League star, who was acquitted of murdering his wife and a friend of hers in 1995, became drunk and abusive toward staff at the hotel's Clique bar in an incident that took place around midnight. He was reportedly drunk enough that his behavior eventually broke a few glasses, at which point security was called.
Simpson was courteous toward hotel security, according to TMZ, but was also permanently banned from the hotel.
Eventually, glasses at the bar broke because of the former National Football League star's behavior, prompting a call to hotel security.
