New Bentley Continental GT3

New Bentley Continental GT3 racer revealed

With a new dry-sump system, new intake system and new exhaust system, the new Continental GT3 has unrestricted power rated at 550 bhp. Based on the latest Continental coupe, the auto will go on sale from June 2018. It has a lot to live up to as well, with the outgoing GT3 having achieved 45 wins and 120 podiums in 528 races; it's a Blancpain GT champion too.

The new Continental GT3 is now being developed and will be ready-to-race for the 2018 season.

"The new vehicle leaves no area or system untouched in the search for even better performance, and the early test results are promising".

Bentley Motorsport will run two new GT3s in the Blanpain series.

The GT3 auto is based on the new Continental GT road vehicle and uses its mostly aluminum structure along with a new development of the manufacturer's four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It is noted that the model created on the basis of the road version of the Bentley Continental GT the new generation, but has several unique features focused on track use.

The 2018 Continental GT3 racing vehicle has already undergone six months of testing ahead of the 2018 campaign, which includes the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup where Bentley Motorsport reign as the defending teams champions. Plus the team also upgraded the suspension and braking systems.

Bentley has taken the wraps off the new GT3 racing auto version of its Continental GT.

The racecar is already in a six-month test program in the UK, France and Portugal.

The new Conti GT3 is based on the all-new Continental GT revealed earlier in 2017, but has undergone serious steroidal treatment to beef it up, ready for the 2018 GT3 season.
