Berganza's suspension and subsequent firing from DC came after years of multiple publications reporting on numerous instances of people from within the industry speaking out publicly against him and DC for choosing to continue his employment.
DC Comics has terminated editor Eddie Berganza following allegations of sexual harassment. Before he was sacked, he was overseeing Dark Knights: Metal, a special series that is reportedly one of DC's biggest-selling titles at the moment.
Berganza had worked with DC since the early 1990s.
Liz Marsham, a former writer, said Berganza cornered her, forced his tongue in her mouth and tried to grope her in 2006, just three weeks after she first started working at the company.
Italy face crunch Sweden game as World Cup disaster beckons
There are two possible narratives as Italy prepare for their World Cup date with destiny against Sweden in Milan on tonight. He told the Croydon Advertiser: "Wherever I play is wherever I play, I don't have any arguments where I play at Palace".
In 2010, former DC editor Janelle Asselin organized a group of employees to report a joint complaint to HR about Berganza, who continued to rise through the ranks and was named executive editor later that year. Later that evening, she alleged, he tried to grope her.
Five women (one anonymously) accused Berganza of sexual harassment, and other sources say that the editor has been accused of such behavior going back several decades. The woman herself later said she was too scared to report the coercion, but allegations surfaced in a Bleeding Cool article, which initially did not name Berganza. Berganza, who was up for a promotion to executive editor at the time, received that promotion anyway.
With regards to Berganza directly they said: 'There will be a prompt and yet careful review into next steps [relating] to the allegations against him, and the concerns our talent, employees and fans have shared'.
In a 2012 email to his fellow editors Berganza wrote: 'You have my word, I will not allow this to happen again. I believe and support all the women who spoke out. "While we can not comment on specific personnel matters, DC takes allegations of discrimination and harassment very seriously, promptly investigates reports of misconduct and disciplines those who violate our standards and policies".
