Why should we have expected any less?
Ferry McFerryFace was the second most popular choice, with the most votes actually going to the name Boaty McBoatface.
Given Boaty was already taken by another vessel, we've gone with the next most popular name nominated by Sydneysiders.
More than two years on from a public vote to name the city's new fleet ferries, Transport NSW has announced that Ferry McFerryface will, officially, hit the water.
Ferry McFerryface is part of Sydney's new, modern ferry fleet that will carry 400 passengers, have Wi-Fi, and advanced facilities for the disabled.
While others said the name makes a mockery of the distinguished Australians who have their names on the ferries.
