"After scoring one goal it was a big knock for Ireland, we got a lot of confidence and started to play good football", said Eriksen, who plays for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

"It is an incredible feeling", said Eriksen.

The Danes booked their ticket to Russian Federation with a brilliant 5-1 win in Dublin, Eriksen's treble sandwiched by a Cyrus Christie own goal and Nicklas Bendtner penalty after Shane Duffy had put the hosts into an early lead.

"That is simply not true", he insisted, adding that he hadn't won the "trophies that I have won both as a player and manager" because of luck.

O'Neill made two hurried substitutions at half time which completely tore apart his midfield, and instead of generating some pressure on Kasper Schmeichel's goal, it allowed Eriksen and Denmark more and more freedom.

Despite the defeat on Tuesday night, many will eventually reflect on the positive nature of the qualifying campaign which saw them finish second in a group they were seeded fourth in, getting the better of Austria and Wales to make it to the play-offs.

Hareide is confident there is more to come from Eriksen, who is thriving in North London.

In addition to the growing number of lawsuits the company is facing, a unionization campaign by United Auto Workers is underway. Overloaded with such allegations and lawsuits, Tesla is prepping to launch its semi truck on Thursday of this week.

If Denmark's first goal, an own goal by Cyrus Christie, was a bit disheartening for the Irish, Eriksen's wonder goal in the 32nd minute completely broke them.

O'Neill will have a full strength squad to pick from tonight as none of their eight players who started the first leg on a yellow card received another one.

"I'm obviously delighted for Denmark but I'm gutted for the Irish".

After a combative 0-0 in the first leg at Copenhagen, the Irish stormed the pitch to take an early lead through Shane Duffy in the 6th minute.

"I'm very pleased for the team, this is a hard place to play football - they're compact and good defensively, so scoring five against Ireland does not happen very often".

"Denmark were stronger, they were better than us on the evening and well done to them".
