Kim revealed during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' TV show on Monday that she'd thrown a shower over the weekend for the benefit of daughter North and mentioned during the story that the latest addition to the family will be a little GIRL.

Kim, who is expecting baby number three via a surrogate, was talking about trying to get her first daughter, North, used to the idea of a baby being on the way by throwing a baby shower.

She also discussed looking for a name for the baby and asking the guests at the baby shower to write their suggestions down for her to look at.

She said: "You know, it is really different".

Whoops! After realising her error, Kim was happy to confirm that she's got another daughter on the way, who will be a sibling to North, 4, and her brother Saint, almost 2. "We're freaking out, we have no name".

"Kim is disappointed", says an insider, noting that she'd hoped the birth would take place at LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where kids North, 4, and Saint, 23 months, were born.

"She did makeup on the My Little Pony that they gave and she said, 'Mom, I want to do a YouTube video.'" she continued. "She named it Star West".

The audience clapped as the star giggled off her mistake.

She explained: "It's been such a fun journey to figure out how our kids like to dress and how to make cool clothes for kids".

Unlike Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner tries to keep private life secret.
