Byron Maxwell signing with Seattle Seahawks, per reports

Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka greets former teammate Miami Dolphins defensive back Byron Maxwell after the Seahawks season opener in 2016

Seattle also placed running back C.J. Prosise on injured reserve with an ankle injury and signed running back Mike Davis from the practice squad.

Apparently, Quinn still has good relationships from his time in Seattle too, including one with pro-bowl cornerback Richard Sherman.

Sherman suffered a season-ending Achilles injury Thursday against Arizona.

Miami Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell (41) is called for pass interference on New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall (15) at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on November 6, 2016. During the 2015 free agency period, the 29-year-old defensive back hit pay dirt with the Philadelphia Eagles en route to signing a six-year, $63 million deal in his first home outside of Seattle.

Jon Stewart Says He's "Stunned" By the Louis CK Sexual Misconduct Allegations
I think it's gotten better over the years, but certainly, when we started 30 years ago, it was really hard . Honestly, I'm not that connected to that world. "You know who you're talking to, right?" laughed Stewart.

Maxwell, who was released by the Miami Dolphins in October, will join the Seattle Seahawks once again. Maxwell knows Seattle's system after starting his career with the Seahawks and becoming a starter during the 2013 season.

Prosise took three carries in the win over Arizona before leaving in the third quarter with a sprained ankle.

Davis was a fourth-round pick of the 49ers in 2015 out of SC. He spent two seasons with the 49ers, playing in 14 games and rushing for 109 yards on 54 carries.
