INCOMING Snowmageddon risks battering the country with blizzard-like conditions
Freezing temperatures are expected Thursday night as the mercury drops to a low of 22. Most of the Twin Cities area should see less than an inch beginning Monday evening, but as much as eight or more inches is possible in northern Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service.

"A much colder air mass will then take charge from Thursday morning".
Very high fire danger with strong northwesterly winds is expected Tuesday, the weather service said. Temperatures will range between eight and 10 degrees with light southwest breezes.
As for earlier this week, it will be cloudy but mainly dry on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures in the low teens, although rain will start to fall and become persistent on Tuesday night.
Tomorrow will continue with cloudy conditions with a new bright or sunny spells forecast.
