Honor 7X India launch set for today, along with Honor V10 global launch
A 3340 mAh non-removable battery is inside the phone with fast charging technology which claims to offer up to 21 hours of talk time.
A review of the Honor 7X is coming, and we will update this story when it posts. It is powered by a Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 659 2.36GHz octa-core processor, along with Mali T830-MP2 and can hold up-to a 256 GB micro SD card in its expandable storage slot. However, given that the Honor 6X was priced under Rs 15,000 when it launched for both the 32 and 64GB variant, we can expect the company to stick to a similar pricing for the new phone.
Honor 7x was initially launched in China in October and came in three storage configurations - 32GB, 64GB, 128GB.
"The Honor 7X is the leading choice for users who want to enjoy rich functionality with the benefits of a bezel-less phone, while considerate on their budget", said George Zhao, President of Honor. It carries a price-tag of 1299 yuan ($198) for the 32GB version, 1699 yuan ($258) for the 64GB version and 1999 yuan ($304) for the 128GB version.
The most notable feature of the Honor 7X phone is its bezel-less display. The Honor 7X is set to continue that tradition, and it's nearly unbelievable that Huawei can offer a device like this at the specified price tag. Honor 9i was another phone the company launched with a bigger full vision display, though that smartphone has dual cameras on the front and back. The variants will be made available in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants. "Present are its 1080 x 2060 pixels 6" display, the Kirin 970 chipset, the 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage memory combo, as well as the 20 MP monochrome camera sensor on the back. The large aperture (F/0.95 - F/16) gives images a DSLR-level depth of field effect. It packs a 3340mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 custom skin. The Honor V10 has already been introduced in the China market, and we will have to wait and see if this launches for India as well.
On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GLONASS, A-GPS and connects to the computer using a microUSB 2.0 cord. The handset measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs around 165 grams.
