Ubisoft said last week that the 1.8 update to The Division would be out sometime this week. There will also be two new game modes.
Tom Clancy's The Division Update 1.8 has been code-named Resistance by the developers, with the new area of the map being West Side Pier. The free weekend will end on Sunday, December 10 at 10:59 p.m. PST, and the game's three expansions will also be free to play for everyone during this period. Resistance will pit Division agents against an unprecedented alliance of enemy factions, challenging players to fight off waves of powerful foes and formidable bosses. The latter is a wave-based survival mode where players must hold out against continuous AI-controlled enemy assaults. Keep an eye on the Gold section of your Xbox One dashboard if you don't want to miss the upcoming free weekend.
