Apple's US market share dropped ahead of iPhone X
The European market share was 35.3%, up from 30.1%.
So says Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, whose latest figures show that iOS' slice of the pie fell 8.5 per cent in the three months ending October, giving it a 33.9 per cent share of the United Kingdom market. Oddly enough, the new version change log doesn't include mention of the newly added iPhone X support, but does describe its big new feature: support for non-Google email accounts via IMAP.
At end October, 35.3 percent of Apple's installed base customers across Europe and the U.S. had owned their iPhones for more than two years, up from 30.1 percent the year before, signifying "considerable pent-up demand" within Apple's base, Kantar said.
Apple launched the iPhone X in the beginning of November, instead of in September when it launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Australia beat England by 120 runs in second Ashes test
That scenario relied heavily on England skipper Joe Root , on 67, posting a big score on day five at the Adelaide Oval. Before the Ashes action moves to Perth, let's have a look at the hits and misses from the second Test.
Apple's drop in market share was good news for Android OEMs, with Google's OS increasing its majority share by 10.4 per cent to 64.9 per cent during the three month period.
"This decrease is significant and puts pressure on the iPhone X to perform".
Bitcoin smashes through $12000 to reach a new record high
If that limit is hit, trading can only continue at or within the +/- 20 per cent limit for the remainder of the trading session. The argument may be helped by two features that will be a part of the bitcoin futures: price limits and margin rates.
