Ola cabs will dispense cash

An Ola cab driver allegedly molested a woman in Bengaluru while she was going home, according to PTI.

The complaint also said the driver warned her of dire consequences if she would report the matter to the police or Ola Cabs management.

She went to the police but decided not to file a First Information Report as the Ola cab driver had been warned. "I threatened to break the window, it was only then that the driver let me get out of the vehicle", the victim told TNM. The driver took her to a deserted spot on the Ring Road in south east Bengaluru and suddenly stopped, the woman said.

The Ola driver had put the child lock on in the auto and had allegedly attempted to sexually assault the victim on Sunday night. "We regret the unfortunate experience the customer had during her ride".

Ola said in a statement on Wednesday that it had zero tolerance to such incidents and the driver had been suspended on receiving the complaint.

"I immediately started banging the car's windows with my fist in an attempt to make noise". She said: "I shouted and asked him to stop the auto - -unfazed, and continuing his act, he very nonchalantly asked me what was wrong".

Mueller's budget tops $3.2 million so far in Trump-Russia probe
The rest was spent on the relocation of Justice employees temporarily assigned to the expanding investigation, the report showed. That analysis also found that Mueller's investigation is accelerating more rapidly than previous inquiries.

The woman has also complained about the incident to the police.

The woman, however, alleged that Ola did not inform her about the action it took against the driver.

The spokesperson also urged the customer to lodge a formal complaint with the authorities.

It was reported that the woman was traveling from Indiranagar to BTM Layout in the Ola cab on Sunday night. "What is the company doing to ensure women who use the service are safe?" she asked.

Now is the high time the firm owners take stringent actions against the perpetrators since this issue has now become a cause of concern and safety of passengers.
