"I mean, I don't think you ever do feel settled, [but] as soon as you feel settled with your home and your personal life, you're looking at the world and going, 'How in the hell do I fix this?"

Hollywood actor Jennifer Lawrence has been vocal about the recent wave of sexual misconduct allegations that has hit Hollywood and now she has revealed how she felt when the report came out about film producer and longtime collaborator Harvey Weinstein.

She said she hopes to see "social change" and that there needs to be equality between men and women for that to happen. "No, never", she said. "Which was not true, but basically my job was threatened because the director said something fucked up to me and I said, 'That's sick, you can't talk to me like that, ' and then I was punished, and I got afraid that I wasn't going to be hired again".

At least, that's according to a Hollywood executive, who presented the 27 year old with an award named after her at The Hollywood Reporter's annual Power 100 Women in Entertainment breakfast this week. Lawrence conceded that they were right; "we do have a responsibility to say something".
