On his way to the supermarket the driver of the tank managed to destroy this car

Struggling to turn around in a narrow street, the man, whom witnesses described as being drunk, slammed the tank into the window of a convenience store, the news agency said.

According to Reuters, the suspect stole the armored vehicle from a private training ground, drove it through a forest and smashed into the storefront in the small town of Apatity.

The man reportedly had trouble turning the tank around while rolling down a narrow street, and crashed into the storefront, running over a parked vehicle in the process.

Some Oregonians panic about new self-service gas law
Since 1951 gas stations have been required to have attendants pump gas for customers. "I agree Very bad idea", another Facebooker wrote.

On a joyride through Apatity, the man driving the armored vehicle badly damaged a parked auto before careening through the supermarket window, police said. Photos from the scene showed that he crushed at least one auto - a Daewoo.

It is thought that he stole a bottle of wine from the store, and "it was with this very bottle that policemen detained him", reported Hibinform. I had to laugh when it was pointed out that the shop was not licensed to sell alcohol at the time of the accident.

Onlookers didn't seem particularly concerned about the sight of a military machine on the sidewalk.
