Rebekah Shelton slams 'arrogant' Judge Rinder in fiery final TV appearance

A tweet posted in the early hours of this morning, and purporting to be on behalf of the transgender star's family, claimed that Shelton had died.

She said: "Hi everyone, I would just like to ask everyone to stop spreading rumours that I'm dead because obviously I'm not". My lawyer is already working on this and this person who wants to spoil my happiness is going to pay for it!' I'm so sorry. I remember watching her on Big Brother a few years ago and I loved her personality.

'This person can not accept the fact that I am happy, that I've finally overcome my problems.

She concluded the video saying: 'I'm not dead'.

Rebekah appeared on the reality show back in 2009 as Rodrigo Lopes before undergoing a transition into a woman.

On Rebekah's Twitter profile, she wrote her in bio: "Reality star, Big Brother UK as Rodrigo".

'I lost friends, it divided my family and I had to undergo 16 surgeries.

The former Big Brother star spoke to Daily Star Online back in May, 2017 about the turning point when she knew her gender reassignment surgery was the right decision.

A statement from her personal Twitter account said: "We're sorry to inform everyone of the sad news that our wonderful and lovely Rebekah died unexpectedly on Wednesday night".

More recently, Rebekah appeared on ITV daytime show Judge Rinder.

'People think it's easy.

In her video, recorded in a hotel room, she said: 'Hi everyone, I would like to kindly ask.

Speaking previously about his transition, she said: "The only thing I wish is that that my family will learn to accept me".

"It was a big step to go full time as a woman". So many times I wanted to kill myself because I had no one to talk to.
