Cindy Crawford to Reprise Iconic Role in Pepsi Ad With Son Presley Gerber
When the opportunity to recreate her ad was presented, the 51-year-old model didn't hesitate for a second, because it would mean getting to work with her son.
"Just as a mother, we drove to work together that day and we shared the same trailer". She continued, "The commercial was a big moment for me and has spanned generations".
"They were my jeans that I wore that day and when we were doing wardrobe the stylist asked to just cut my jeans off", she told People.
The new Super Bowl advert is called "This Is The Pepsi", and is part of the drinks company's "Pepsi Generation" campaigning honouring its 120-year history and its place in pop culture. She said she felt the 1992 spot "became such a classic for so many reasons". "And it's amusing, because during Halloween a lot of women will dress up as me in that commercial".
