They went teamed up in 2012 for an incredible collaboration on Django Unchained, but it looks like we haven't seen the last of the iconic pairing of Quentin Tarantino and Leonardo DiCaprio. Despite the film revolving around the Manson Family murders, Charles Manson himself will not be a lead character but more a background player.
The now untitled Quentin Tarantino Manson movie will open on August 9, 2019. On top of Brad Pitt, who is reportedly "circling" the project, Deadline is now reporting that Tarantino's Django Unchained co-star Leonardo DiCaprio has been tapped.
Tarantino has asked Margot Robbie to play slain actress Sharon Tate in the film, but Robbie's casting isn't final yet. According to Variety, that is still in play. Additionally, Tarantino has allegedly written a part for Al Pacino in the Manson project, but the legendary actor has yet to sign on. Unsurprisingly, this is shaping up to be an event picture.
