"We will take a win when we can get it, but it just doesn't feel the same way as when you play the game the right way throughout", Lakers coach Luke Walton told reporters after the Sacramento game.

The total has gone over in five of Los Angeles' last seven games at home. And to lose like that, it's kind of like it's devastating. "Nobody wants to. But our bosses tell us we have to, because of the ratings, because of the readership.' Somewhere - I guess (LaVar) is in Lithuania - LaVar Ball is laughing at all of us", Kerr added.

With Ball leading the charge, the Lakers were at their most effective when pushing the ball up the court, and they picked up where they left off after tying a franchise record with 42 fast-break points against Atlanta on Sunday. De'Aaron Fox had 15 points and Buddy Hield scored 13. He's either going to touch the ball, or he's going to be a key screener and probably touch the ball.

"But I have to look deeper into the numbers and amount of years that he did it".

As the last sentence suggests, the team has had difficulty winning games this year. "He's really intelligent, he's got a lot of interests, a real worldly guy". But don't forget he's a former starter on a championship team, and he was a great player in college.

The Spurs made a concerted effort to keep Ingram out of the lane by giving the small forward the mid-range jumper.

"That's kind of our best basketball at this point right now, getting out in transition", said Brandon Ingram, who had 15 points and five rebounds. "I love the fact that we had 30 assists on 37 field goals, that's how we want to play, that's what we need to be, but the ones that are sticking out in my mind are just soft, lazy passes".

Ingram had an aggressive offensive game, and Ball hit four 3-pointers as the Lakers (14-27) hit the halfway point of what's looking like their fifth consecutive non-playoff season.

Brook Lopez scored 18 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 16 for the Lakers, who have won two straight following a nine-game losing streak.

Also, it's yet to be seen if they're going to ship him more or less on his own or try and put him together in a package with Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr., who've also been named as Lakers on the market officially. Sadly, that is the Lakers' record for their longest win streak of the season. He signed to a two-way contract October 18 and appeared in five games.
