Report: Danny Amendola expected to sign with Dolphins

Danny Amendola expected to sign with Dolphins

However, they haven't wasted much time finding his replacement as they've signed veteran wideout Danny Amendola from their AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots. However, he did his best work during the playoffs, where he caught 33 balls for 348 yards with two touchdowns in three games.

It's a stunning development, as most analysts assumed Amendola would return for another season in New England if he elected to keep playing.

A year ago was Amendola's best in a Patriots uniform with 61 catches for 659 yards and two touchdowns in the regular season.

New Video Shows Potential Alien UFO Sighting
The video, recorded in 2015, was shot by an infrared camera on board an F/A 19 fighter jet traveling at 25,000 feet. Video of the incident, along with another similar encounter, was published in December by the New York Times .

NFL Network first reported that Amendola, 32, is headed to Miami. The big move that preceded Miami's trade of Landry and expected release of Suh to the Cleveland Browns was acquiring Robert Quinn, who hasn't been dominant in two seasons.

As for the Patriots, they should still be fine at wide receiver for next season even with Amendola's absence.

For starters, the Dolphins reportedly agreed to terms with fellow slot WR Albert Wilson on a three-year, $24 million deal just hours before the Amendola report surfaced. In his 9-year career, he's compiled more than 4,100 yards and 19 touchdowns. Free agents are not allowed to officially sign contracts until Wednesday, however.
