President Buhari hosts US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, says Nigeria Negotiating with Boko Haram to secure

US Secretary of State, Tillerson, meets Buhari in Aso Rock

The kidnapping is one of the largest since the jihadist group Boko Haram abducted more than 270 schoolgirls from the northeastern town of Chibok in 2014.

Tillerson was answering questions from journalists after a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The chairman, who encouraged government to go for dialogue to hasten return of the girls, said "the fact that the insurgents provide room for negotiation gives us hope for safe return of our daughters". "So far, Yobe State government had received four federal government delegations since the unfortunate incident, which shows that it has concern for its citizens" he said.

President Buhari stated that the government was partnering with the International Community and organizations including the nation's neighbours to ensure that the girls are safely returned.

The group, which was set up in the wake of Chibok, accused the government of "incompetence and carelessness" and would sue it for criminal negligence if the girls were not freed.

The new board has a slightly faster 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, Bluetooth 4.2 (an upgrade from 4.1), and dual-band Wi-Fi. The revised processor carries model number BCM2837B0 and has a metallic heat spreader to improve thermal performance.

And again, the President lied when he said his administration "rescued" 100 Chibok Girls. As a matter of fact, they were released by Boko Haram after the alleged payment of huge ransoms and freedom of captured Boko Haram commanders by the Buhari administration.

Buhari based his conviction on recent successes recorded by the administration in rescuing Boko Haram hostages and the backing of the worldwide community.

Again, three weeks ago, Chief Mike Okiro, the head of the Police Service Commission, revealed that under President Muhammadu Buhari, 150,000 police men are guarding "big men" instead of performing core police duties.

Nigeria's president, in a visit to the country's troubled northeast, on Monday predicted success in what he described as relentless efforts to release more than 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram. As much as a tragedy and sorrow was brought about by the 17 young people killed in Florida on February 14, can you even begin to understand the magnitude that 410 families are feeling in Nigeria? Only a patently dishonest leader can claim to have defeated Boko Haram with such numbers.
