Sridevi Rajkummar Rao Taapsee Pannu win laurels at 65th National Awards
The nation's Chandni, late actor Sridevi has posthumously won her first National Award in the category of Best Actress for her performance in the movie MOM.
She played the titular role in Mom that was a revenge thriller. The actor died in February this year at the age of 54.
She was especially happy that the movie had made parents more conscious about sending their children to parties at farmhouses, and made several girls realise to be careful about the vehicle they sit in to return home late at night.
Sridevi was one of the most decorated actors of all time with numerous awards and recognitions attached to her name.
It was Sridevi's third film after returning to acting recently with English Vinglish and Tamil film Puli.
