October 2nd Day Box Office Collection: Movie Gains Momentum on Saturday

October box office collection: On day 1, Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer has managed to earn Rs 5.04 crore net in Indian market and the expectations are that the weekend score will be much better going forward. The critics praised the Dhawan lad for choosing a film that's quite different from what he is generally associated with. The film that experienced a slow start on Friday, April 13, the day it hit screens, has shown almost 48.21 % growth on Day 2.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film "will have to witness miraculous growth over the weekend and maintain a strong trend on weekdays to leave a mark". The movie is getting great appreciation from the critics and everybody is saying a good word of mouth for it.

"Starting today, we are introducing a new experience called Stories, connecting Messenger Day and Facebook Stories". If we talk about this particular Stories feature on Facebook , it has not been successful as Instagram or Snapchat.

Now, if early reports are to be believed then the film has picked up business on second day. October raked in Rs 7.47 crore on its day 2, taking its collection to over Rs 12 crore. A positive word of mouth from the viewers may work wonders for the film in the coming days. It is a well known fact that Varun always makes sure that he is well prepared and rehearsed before the shoot, but during the filming of October the director wanted him to approach it a little bit differently.

The Badlapur actor also added that it was important to give time to the people in your life. "Now that the film is out I can finally say this". The emotional drama that also stars Banita Sandhu is unique story about love that goes beyond the normal love stories that takes audiences on a attractive journey of love, life and relationships.
