Radio host Arthur "Art" Bell died in his Nevada home on Friday, authorities said.
The Nye County Sheriff's office Bell died in his Pahrump home yesterday.
Bell was the founder and original owner for Pahrump station KNYE.
Bell permanently left the weekday edition of Coast to Coast AM in 2002 and George Noory took over the weekday hosting duties for Coast to Coast AM on January 1, 2003.
Earlier than "Coast to Coast AM" started, Bell, who was born in 1945, was within the Air Pressure throughout the Vietnam Struggle and there he "indulged his childhood ardour for radio by working a pirate radio station", based on the obituary.
The official cause of death for Art Bell hasn't been released.
