Obama FBI 'Probably' Had a Spy Inside Presidential Campaign

Donald Trump says the FBI's investigation into cooperation between Russia and his campaign could prove"bigger than Watergate

Donald Trump FBI watergate

Wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI "SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN IMBEDDED INFORMANT".

Trump quoted McCarthy speaking on Fox News about his latest articles, in which he argued Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson was referring to an Federal Bureau of Investigation spy during Senate Judiciary Committee testimony. The theory was given more fuel Wednesday by a line in a New York Times story, which said "at least one government informant met several times with Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos", referring to Trump campaign aides Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.

"Just as I promised the American people from this podium 11 months ago, we enacted the biggest tax cuts and reform in American history", President Donald Trump said during his State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Trump's tweets followed a New York Times report about operation "Crossfire Hurricane", in which the Obama administration's FBI investigated Trump's campaign.

Oil eases in late trading on US stockpile concerns
Goldman Sachs, though, said even with a slowdown in demand and soaring USA output, global oil markets would remain tight. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were up 57 cents at $72.06 a barrel, also their highest since November 2014.

McCarthy said the FBI could not have spoken publicly before the election about the Trump-Russia investigation, as they did with the Clinton email probe, since it was classified. "And what they did was use their counterintelligence powers covertly to investigate the Trump campaign, during the stretch run of the campaign, under circumstance where they did not have evidence that anyone had actually committed a crime".

Trump himself took to Twitter Thursday to highlight McCarthy's Fox News interview and slam the "Witch Hunt" on its one-year anniversary under Mueller.

"If so, this is bigger than Watergate!" he concluded.

The president's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said Mueller has "all the facts" after a year and should "bring this thing to a close".
