Footnote in Trump report lists 'reimbursement' payment to Michael Cohen

Novartis Lawyer Retires in Relation to Cohen Payments

President Donald Trump reported having paid his personal attorney more than $100,000 as a reimbursement for a payment made

Ms Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, alleges that she and Mr Trump had sex in a hotel room in Lake Tahoe, a resort area between California and Nevada, in 2006.

Rudy Giuliani, who recently began providing legal representation for Trump, said in a Fox News interview earlier this month that Trump reimbursed Cohen.

Vice President Mike Pence in his discloser form said that he had more than United States dollars 100,000 in student loans for his children and USD 15,000 as credit-debit debt. In a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Apol said the disclosure may be relevant to an investigation into the financial disclosure report Trump filed past year, which did not disclose the no-interest loan.

Trump, his campaign and Cohen have all denied any wrongdoing.

A separate but related question is whether the payment to Daniels, coming just a few days before the 2016 election, was related to Trump's run for the White House.

Mr Apol wrote that he considers Mr Trump's payment to Michael Cohen to be a repayment on a loan and that it was required to be included in Mr Trump's June 2017 disclosure.

Trump's disclosure includes all of 2017 and part of 2018.

It said the payments continued because the contract could not have been terminated.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer said Thursday that he is almost done confirming the accounts of two women who say they had sex with Donald Trump and then signed secrecy agreements that paid them even more than the $130,000 the adult film star received.

"The disclosure substantiates our CREW complaint that the failure to do so previously was a violation of law", CREW's board Chairman Norman Eisen said.

"Mr. Cohen sought reimbursement of those expenses and Mr. Trump fully reimbursed Mr. Cohen in 2017", it said.

In a footnote in tiny type on Page 45 of his 92-page disclosure, Trump said he reimbursed Cohen for "expenses" ranging from $100,001 to $250,000.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, reportedly lied to Congress concerning the timeline of a Trump Tower building deal with Russian Federation, according to reports from Yahoo News.

Novartis admitted last week it was paying Cohen $100,000 a month. Daniels has sued to be released from her nondisclosure agreement. The New Yorker's Ronan Farrow (who seems determined to show that NBC News never should have let him go) spoke with the person who leaked Cohen's confidential financial documents. In all, Trump's vast array of assets - hotels, resorts, books, licensing deals and other business ventures - generated revenue previous year of at least $453 million.

Stephenson said Bob Quinn, senior executive vice president of the external and legislative affairs group, "will be retiring".

How a global powerhouse like Novartis could get entangled in controversy with Trump's personal fixer highlights the way established lines of doing business have been upended by the unorthodox new president.
