How to Make Money From Instagram
Last year Instagram said that users of the app who are under 25 spent an average of more than 32 minutes per day in Instagram, while older users where spending more than 24 minutes per day in it.
Instagram now appears to be taking a page from Google's stylebook as the Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing app is working on a new feature called "Usage Insights" which will allow users to know more about the time they spend on Instagram.
RED Hydrogen One heading to AT&T and Verizon this summer
You'd be able to add modules to your phone to improve certain features, a trick mentioned in Verizon's announcement as well. Today, both AT&T and Verizon have confirmed that the Hydrogen One will be launching on their networks this summer.
Now, Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom has taken to Twitter to confirm that the Usage Insights feature is indeed real and that it will be coming to all users at some point in the future. Instagrammers will be able to check out their "time spent" within the "Usage Insights" feature, according to TechCrunch. Systrom tweeted the feature with the caption, "It's true". He also noted that time spent online impact people and that his company wants to be honest with the users. For example, if you find out how many hours of your life you've spent on Instagram, you might be more shocked and thus unwilling to use it further, rather than a daily report that could help you curb the habit.
It is hard to judge whether these technology companies are really concerned about the well being of their consumers or is it a mere attempt to address the concern among their core users.
