Moto G6 Launched in China as “Moto 1S” Phone; Price $235
Motorola has released Moto 1s with dual camera mechanism on the rear in Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder color options in China. It is the Pomelo 1S.
The biggest difference to be found? While there are no changes in terms of specifications and design, the stock Android UI is replaced with the custom ZUI skin.
It will retail from today for ¥1,499 or $236. Moto 1S has a 5.7-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The announcement of the Moto 1s launch was made by the company via microblogging site Weibo. The smartphone is already available for purchase via Lenovo's online shop as well as Motorola store in China. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU.
Unlike other competing smartphones, the fingerprint sensor embedded below the camera includes a P2i nano splash-proof coating. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
It has dual camera setup where primary sensor is of 12 megapixels and secondary sensor is of 5 megapixels. The phone comes with a 3,000 mAh battery which is non-removable and supports turbo charge.
On the front side, there's an 8-megapixel snapper and an LED flash for video calling and taking selfies. It measures 153.8 x 72.3 x 8.3 mm and weighs 168 grams. The phone also supports dual SIM standby. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
