Indian media distorted Sharif's 26/11 statement- Pak PM
He was responding to a question regarding the recent emergence of dissenting voices from within the party against Nawaz Sharif's policy lines - adopted after the July 28 Supreme Court decision disqualifying Sharif from holding elected office.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Pakistan's Punjab province Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday chaired his first parliamentary party meeting.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that Nawaz Sharif's political narrative is more unsafe than his recent statement on the 2008 Mumbai attack.
Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal also attended the meeting, while questions were raised on the absence of former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Earlier, Nawaz, in an interview to a local newspaper published on May 12, had said, "Militant organisations are active".
In this interview, Nawaz Sharif's remarks on the 2008 Mumbai attacks were blown up by Indian media.

The sources said that Nawaz Sharif believed that his party should go into the coming elections with his narrative of "give respect to the vote".
